Pricing

How Concrete Project Pricing Works

We don't quote over the phone, and we don't publish numbers we haven't verified. Here's exactly how your price gets built.

The model

Why every quote follows a walkthrough.

A real number requires seeing the site. Access, grading, sub-base condition, and tear-out change the work more than square footage does — so a phone number is a guess, and guesses get revised after demolition, when you have no leverage.

Instead: final pricing is provided after the on-site walkthrough and documented in a written proposal, with the scope and inclusions defined. If something unforeseen comes up, we explain it and get your written approval before anything changes.

Published figures

We don't publish ranges or per-foot numbers. Final pricing is provided after the on-site walkthrough and documented in a written proposal — we'd rather show nothing than a number we can't stand behind.

Cost drivers

What moves the number, honestly.

Increases the price

  • +Square footage
  • +Tear-out and haul-off
  • +Grading and drainage
  • +Reinforcement
  • +Decorative finishes and borders
  • +Difficult access

Decreases the price

  • −Straightforward flatwork
  • −Broom finish
  • −A good existing sub-base
  • −Easy truck and crew access

How you pay

Milestone-based billing.

The project runs in phases — demolition and prep, forming and reinforcement, the pour, then finishing and cleanup. Billing follows the milestones set in your proposal, and you review each completed phase before it is billed, with photo updates at every stage.

Included vs. not

What the proposal covers.

Permits, labor, materials, cleanup, and finishing touches for the defined scope. Work outside that scope — a new project you add mid-build, or landscaping and utilities beyond the concrete — is explained and priced separately, in writing, and requires your written approval before we proceed.

Honesty

Who should not hire us.

If the lowest first number is your only criterion, we're not your contractor. Bargain bids are often cheap because something got left out — usually sub-base compaction, reinforcement, or jointing — and you pay for it in year three.
